Troward was way ahead of his time, he uses big words so read slow, to fully comprehend!! The "how" being the action of cause and effect of thoughts, and the "why" being the freedom to choose our thoughts to produce a better cause and effect. • 4.0 out of 5 stars from Isabell -- New Thought Luminary : [Judge] Thomas Troward was an important figure in the New Thought movement and his writings are still relevant and powerful today. There is nothing 'new' in New Thought, by the way; Unity, Science of Mind and Divine Science are all New Thought churches. Truth in spirituality/philosophy/religion is the import of New Thought. So Judge Troward was a teacher of Truth - and this book is an important one. This is intellectual stuff - but don't give up. If you are a seeker, this is well worth your time. Once I had come to grips with this although I had to re-read some parts by the end of the book a lantern went on in my head understanding indeed the 'word' and the path of the 'law' many thanks ...
